Storing our butters in the fridge will prolong their quality, but it makes them hard to spread. Unrefrigerated, they will harden over time due to the naturally occurring oil. We suggest storing in a cool dark place for easiest use.

The Best Before date is printed between the label and the cap on the glass portion of the jar. For example, BB/MA OC 26 24 refers to the best before date of October 26th, 2024. (BB/MA = Best Before/meilleur avant)

We recommend you keep to the Best Before date printed on our jar.

Nuts and seeds contain 44–60% oil depending on the variety. Because we don’t stabilize our product with hydrogenated or tropical fat, the naturally occurring oil will separate and rise to the top in a warm environment. Just stir the oil back in and enjoy!

“Certified organic” refers to a system of agriculture standardized and certified by a third party organization under the supervision of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Our organic products are certified by Centre for Systems Integration (CSI).

Yes. We do not use any ingredients with gluten in our facility.

Yes. We are certified by the Kashruth Council of Canada.

Yes. We do not accept GMO nuts and seeds from our suppliers.

No. During manufacturing, there is a chance of cross-contamination with other nuts and/or seeds. People with allergies to peanuts, nuts, or seeds should not eat our products.

All our nuts and seeds are dry-roasted. We never use oil for roasting.

Unfortunately, no. But we are very widely distributed across Canada. Find us at your local natural food store, farm market, specialty food shop, grocery store, or online retailer.

At this time, we only sell our products through our retailers in Canada. However, our online retailers may ship to the U.S.A.
